Anemometer for awnings.
I used an old brushless motor to recover the rotating case with the bearings by removing the internal windings and almost all the magnets. Leaving only 2, I was able to use a Hall effect sensor to count the pulses. With an Arduino mini, I created the electronics to give me the wind value; if anyone needs it, I'll give them the source code for free.
