NOTE** PLEASE USE THE PROFILE I UPLOADED. I changed a lot of settings including the percentage of wall thickness for the arachne walls. If you don't like how tight the model is on your filament, feel free to size up the model a few percentage points. Also, it's not designed for filament to go into the side that faces the build plate. That side is a tiny bit smaller so that the filament doesn't go all the way through. It takes some oompfh to get the filament into the clip but it shouldn't just break over and over again. If it's doing that, you're likely backwards.
This is the first model I ever felt was polished enough to upload. I have an AMS for my P1S and an AMS Lite for my A1. Specifically for my AMS lite, I had an issue where, because I hang my filament spools from a closet rod instead of being in the actual AMS lite housing, the hangers I printed for them ride real close on the sides. This means that traditional “over-edge” clips would need to be removed for me to use the filament and those things are SUPER EASY to lose. This clip is a whole different design. You simply insert the filament into the circle until you feel a satisfying click, then you orient the filament near the edge of the spool and press the clip down between the filament and the wall of the spool. It's that easy.
I've printed over 30 of them and have put every single one of them to use on tons of various spool types like cardboard, plastic, and even spools with those giant open side holes. I've yet to find a spool that isn't compatible with my design. I've used it with PLA, PETG, and even TPU (which I kind of expected to have trouble with). It's clearly designed for 1.75mm filament but other than that the only real limitation I've run into is either super tiny spools or spools that are nearly empty. In this case, there is no filament resting against the wall of the spool to hold the clip in place.
