Summary

The German version of Kavango differs from the English one. The included cardboard insert is well thought out, nevertheless it doesn‘t meet my requirements. 😉
The higher part of the inlay is actually intended for the cards, but here the three stacks would be so close together that they would be difficult to access. That's why I placed the cards in the lower section. The height of the inlay makes it easy to remove (5 mm space under the cards) and fits flush at the top so that nothing can slip -> vertical storage is possible.

For the storage of the player’s components, I adapted the idea of finnef (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6783992/files) to create some kind of player boards/stations. These are not designed to save material, but to fit perfectly into the cardboard inlay without wobbling.

The insert consists of:

• kavango_cards.stl (224x142x31mm)
  This part has space for 4x 90 cards. It needs around 60g of filament and fits perfectly in the card board inlay.
  There also is a version to print this model on the same plate with a small printer.
• 4x kavango_playerboard.stl (137x65x23mm)
  Stores the money cubes, scoring tokens, completion tokens, and Animeeples. During the game it holds (up to) 2x2 cards (e.g. experts and/or goal cards) and while the the rear tray represents the reserve, the money cubes in the front represent the available money.

Also available:

• kavango_roundtracker.stl (165x21x2.5mm)
  If you like to track the rounds on the table, you can use this minimalistic piece. Use the money cubes of a not used color or – playing with 4 – let the player with the hand cards “1” place a cube here after each round.
• kavango_roundtracker_solo.stl (120x37x2.5mm)
  If you play the solo mode, you play with two card sets alternately. Therefore the 10 rounds are divided in two lines here.
