The included OpenScad script can be updated to adjust the size of the clamshell, to include or remove the finder shoe, or to adjust the mounting hardware parameters.
Hardware needed to complete the ST80 builds:
4 - 1/4" hex nuts - 2 for the dovetail connection, one for the hinge, and one for the clamp
1 - 1 3/4" long 1/4" machine screw for the hinge
1 - 1 1/4" or longer 1/4" hex bolt for the clamping knob
A dovetail of your choice that accommodates 1/4" screws spaced 30mm apart
1 mm adhesive felt to line the clamshell
For the finder shoe an M4 heat insert is recommended, along with an M4 thumbscrew
Print with supports and at least 6 walls (8 is a good idea). PETG or other stable material is recommended.
