Printed model (2) sides help to contain the filament spool during high heat dehydration to prevent warping of the spool. A center hole is used with two counter sunk bolts to squeeze the spool inward. Spool support should be left on the spool until it has cooled or used directly on a double spool roller system.
Models should be printed with high temperature plastic such as Polycarbonate, Nylon or PPA.
Optional:
Stainless steel disks can be purchased online and used to increase the oven heat higher. They will also roll with less friction on spool rollers, especially when spools are damaged during dehydration.
Five gallon buckets with screw type top lid accept spools in a stack-able manner and will keep the spools dry during cool down.
