Provides a paper towel holder that provides a clamp for the loose sheet at the end of the roll.

Note that the central column and base are completely hollow in the design - only the clamp requires infill and I found 20% was enough for this.

The main part that flexes here is actually the wall of the base - I have printed with PLA+, and there doesn't seem to be any issue with pulling the clamp out to accommodate a full roll.

Note that the openscad source file is included here for reference, but currently there is no real attempt to make this parametric (see design notes below).

Probably best to print with a brim as the contact with the printer bed on the first layer is deliberately minimalist. I didn't as I found hairspray kept it perfectly in place while printing on my heated glass bed (70 degrees).

Gently pull the clamp out while pushing your new roll down.

Started by scribbling with paper and pen.

I have included the openscad hack that I used to create the model, but this should be seen as work in progress. The clamp itself is mostly hard coded around the default size of the base and central column - and while the clamp is a kludgy hack at the moment, I have a feeling it should be reworked using a sine wave as a base shape. Have included it for now in case anyone else wants to play with it.
