Post-Printing
Requirements tools and prepwork
You will need 4x M2x8mm Bolts, 4x M2 Nuts, one long M2 Bolt (you will need this to insert the heated Nuts), a lighter (butane lighters like the dremel one are preferable) and the skalpell blade.
-1. Insert the nuts by heating them up with the lighter. Which side you insert them doesnt matter as all holes are the same depth and width.
-2. Use one of the bolts to cut threads on the side where there are the bolts (this will make putting everything together easier).
-3. Use the longer bolt as a file to widen the hole of the small 3d printed part by threading it in until the threads break. Then move the bolt up and down until there is little resistence.
-4. insert the blade into the small part and heat up the plastic thingi thats sticking out before squishing it down with a flat piece of metal (scrapper)
-5. After all that bolt the three pieces together and adjust the friction by loosing/tightening the two bolts that are closest together.
You should be able to open/close it swift and easily with your thumb.
Updates
I have designed a sheath which will work on the normal knife without the keychain hole. (as the sheath has a keychain hole already build in)
