Stop letting your gear lean in corners or take up valuable shelf space! This hook is designed to hook securely onto standard wire shelving units, providing a dedicated home for hiking poles, umbrellas, and more.
By moving your gear to the side of your racks, you reclaim your shelf surface and keep your equipment organized and accessible.
One Hook, Many Uses:
While designed with hiking poles in mind, the oversized cradle is perfect for:
Outdoor Gear: Trekking poles, walking sticks, and selfie poles.
Photography: Travel tripods, monopods, and light stands.
Home & Garden: Large umbrellas, extendable dusters, fly swatters, and hand tools.
Printing Recommendations (Read for Strength!)
Since this is a functional, load-bearing part, your print settings will determine its durability:
Wall Count: I strongly recommend at least 4 walls and top/bottom layers(perimeters). Increasing the wall count provides the necessary structural integrity to handle weight and leverage.
Material: Dealer’s choice, but I personally use PETG. It offers the perfect balance of strength and slight flexibility for snapping onto the wire. (If using in a hot garage, avoid PLA to prevent warping over time).
Infill: 25%–30% (Gyroid or Grid).
Orientation: For best results, print it on its side to maximize the structural integrity of the hook layers.
