This is a 3D printable multipurpose hook designed for practical, everyday organization around the home, office, garage, or workshop. It works well for hanging bags, headphones, tools, towels, cables, and other frequently used items.

The design focuses on clean geometry and reliable strength, making it easy to print on most FDM printers with standard slicer settings. Depending on the hook style and orientation, supports are usually not required.

The saddle portion of this design is 1.18in inside measurements to fit over a standard deck board that my fence is made from. You can adjust the size, length, etc by using the customization tools.

Layer Height:
0.2 mm (standard)
0.16 mm for a smoother finish

Infill:
15–25% (grid or gyroid recommended)

Walls / Perimeters:
2–3 perimeters for strength

Supports:
Not required for most hook designs
(Some overhang-heavy styles may benefit from supports depending on orientation)

Build Plate Adhesion:
Skirt or Brim recommended for taller or thinner hooks

Filament Material:
PLA works well for light-duty use
PETG recommended for added strength, flexibility, or higher-temperature environments
