Needed a rugged glasses case for my computer glasses when traveling. Has a 2mm thick liner. I made mine out of PA612-CF, but ABS or ASA would work out well too.  I uses 3mm stainless rods for the hinge material. 

I printed with enough walls to make the latches solid. What infill was left I used Cubic in the cases.
