The original side covers of the Behringer X-Touch were too wide to fit a standard 19" rack with an internal dimension of 450mm and also didn't feature any way to mount it to a rail.

This model slims down the sides quite a bit, allowing for the mixer to fit within the 450mm width (including the mounting brackets & pan head screws) and also be mounted to the rail with the supplied brackets.

I personally find the sides to also look quite a bit nicer than the originals, as they are less bulky.

Printing

The two sides are split into two parts so they can fit on a standard i3 Mk4 print bed.
Note: The sides are not identical, as they feature a lip on the side facing the mixer.

Top Sides

Turning the model by 35 degrees makes it fit nicely on my print bed.
Optionally, adjust the infill angle by the amount you turned the model (in this case to 80 degrees) so the surface finish is still 45 degrees in relation to the perimeters.
A brim should be used, as due to the size of the model, the corners tend to warp otherwise.

Make sure the outside is facing the print bed. The two pockets for the screw heads and the lip should face upwards.

Bottom Sides

I recommend using a brim here as well, as the dovetail joint features relatively sharp corners that might warp otherwise.

Make the flat outside faces the print bed.

Brackets

For maximum strength, the brackets should be printed on their sides (the screw slot should be horizontal).
The brackets are identical and you can print four of the same.

Required Hardware

• 4*M4x15 screw (to go through mounting bracket & side cover)

• 2*M4x10 screw (middle screw hole, only for mounting the cover)

If you don't intend to mount the mixer in a rack and thus don't use the brackets, you only need six M4x10 screws.

Assembly

Mount the large top sides first, using a bracket and an M4x15 screw on the back hole and only an M4x10 screw for the middle.
Then, mount the curved front part using a bracket and an M4x15 screw.

Adjust the angle to your liking by using the different screw holes in the brackets.
