Abstract
I made a DIY arm-style camera mount for Octoprint with a Logitech C920 webcam. The design uses two T-nuts, which can be easily installed on extrusion profiles of size 4040 or 2020, and has been thoroughly tested and perfectly adapted on the Ender 3 printer.
The default configuration is five support arms, but they can be flexibly extended or shortened according to actual needs. All nuts and screws are designed with built-in grooves, which not only make installation easier, but also make the overall appearance more simple, neat, and beautiful.

Printing settings recommendations:
- It is recommended to enable the support structure, especially in overhanging areas with a slope of more than 50 degrees, and to appropriately increase the support spacing to ensure a smoother and cleaner removal of the support when needed.
- The recommended printing speed is 40mm/s.
- The filling density should be no less than 15%, and the specific value can be adjusted according to the brand of consumables used and the printing requirements.
- The temperature setting should be based on the brand of consumables you are using, and you should choose the most suitable printing temperature parameters.
Hardware required for the default configuration:
- 7 M5 hexagonal nuts
- 7 M5 screws, with a recommended length of 18-20mm, to achieve a flat and flush fit; if the tolerance requirements are too stringent, M4 screws can also be used instead.
- 2 pieces of 5mm T-shaped nuts, used to fix the bracket on the 4040 or 2020 extrusion profiles.
- 2 screws of 5mm diameter and 14mm length, used to firmly connect the base to the extruded profile.
- 1 M6 screw, with a length of 8mm, is used to fix the camera to a base with a standard 1/4-20 tripod interface.

Based on user needs, we have added the STL file of the rotating arm joint, which supports the addition of extra rotating axis points, further enhancing the flexibility and functionality of the bracket. - V1.2

- A larger-sized cable management clip has been added, which can easily accommodate cables with a thickness of 2–5mm.
- I have attached a G-code file that includes the correct printing directions for each component, and I have also provided a schematic diagram of the printing directions for your reference.
