January 29, 2018 — A new directly printable base provided by Wassname has been added!
January 20, 2018 — I added a print process diagram of the hammer so that everyone can refer to it for guidance if they have any doubts during the printing process.
This model is a recreation of the original work by Pitbull. During the testing process, I found some issues with the handle part of the model. So one of my friends helped me fix these flaws and also optimized the split-printing function of the handle - he specially designed a snap-fit interface. All you need to do is gently insert the upper half of the handle into the longer hammer rod to complete the assembly. This way, even small 3D printers can easily complete the printing task.
The original design concept was to use this hammer as a pen, so that the handle part of the hammer head could perfectly fit the pen core and ink tank of the Pilot ballpoint pen.
For post-processing, I used acrylic paints from the Hobby Lobby brand and chose two colors: bark brown and metallic silver.
