When I print these models, I don't use any infill or support structures, and I don't do any bottom surface adhesion processing. The body part takes about 2.5 hours to complete, and the lid only takes 1.5 hours.
These components do not have a snap-fit design, nor do they require additional special fastening devices. The lid is locked with a snap-fit mechanism, and after being locked, a small flange is formed, providing a stable support point for the lid.
To ensure that the lid can be smoothly snapped into place, I slightly polished a few corners of the lid's edge. However, this was mainly because my printer made the lid's edge slightly rounded.
In order to firmly fix all components together, I first applied a few drops of quick-drying glue and then used hot melt glue for additional reinforcement. The LED strips I chose were RGBIC strips. After the glue had completely hardened, I installed them. I slowly inserted the strips from a lower position, allowing the power cable to be routed from there. Then, I laid the strips along the inside all the way, and finally fixed them permanently in place. In some critical areas, I also used additional hot melt glue to further secure the strips and ensure their stable
During installation, I only used two screws to directly fix the light fixture to the base. Since these types of light fixtures don't have a back design, you can install screws or nails anywhere you want as long as it ensures overall stability. To prevent the light fixture from slipping easily when subjected to minor bumps, I deliberately left a sufficiently long length of the screw head exposed, allowing the LED strip itself to also play a certain anti-slip role.
