I was getting triggered because I couldn't use the cell stage to move my cell plate since the lens kept knocking it over. The lens I am using is very long, and so is the one next to it. Using the universal cell stage just isn't an option. I have two options: I move my cell plate by hand and endure the horrible screeching sound and the fact I might take images from the same region over and over again, compromising my data integrity. Two, use the universal cell stage and potentially damage very expensive equipment.
So I designed this! A cell stage insert with a very tight fit for 24 well plates. We are using COSTAR 3526 24 well cell tissue cluster plates. The side with an extra rim is for the letter side.
Idk if there is another 3d printing biology nerd out there using a revolve scope with a long lens with a 24 well plate. If there is, Hi :)
