This modular paint stand was originally designed to help securely paint and clearcoat several spun steel light shades, but I have since found many other applications for them.

Design Notes:

• The peg fittings are 9.5mm (originally to accommodate the 1/8" IPS hole in my light shades).
• Use as many extension pegs or washers as you need for your application.
• When creating adapters or modifying parts to fit this stand, add a Ø 9.7mm x 15mm deep hole.

The base model comes either fully assembled STL, or as single legs and a central “hub” if you want to scale it up! I have 18" versions of this base printed and super glued together.
