I printed the parts on a Prusa MK4 (before upgrading later to the MK4S).
The clock face just fits on the print bed and prints in one part. A color change is needed to make the numbers and tic marks stand out.
The bezel and the nut don’t fit on the MK4 print bed and must be printed each in 2 parts. They must be joined with alignment pins and then be glued together. Be sure to glue the nut together so the threads match, and also prevent excessive glue from getting into the threads at the joint. The top half of the bezel has mounting screw starter holes on the back.
Use of a glass crystal is optional. During assembly I had to bend the clock hands to roughly match the internal contour of the crystal so they would not hit the crystal, the clock face, or each other. A 0.060” (1.5mm) clock face spacer file was also included. The inner diameter will need to be increased with a negative volume to fit the glass crystal you end up with. I have not tried this, but it could be an effective means to increase the available space for hour and minute hands, or if you want to also use a second hand.
During assembly, the glass crystal is first inserted into the bezel with the spacer on top (if used), or the clock face on top, and the nut compresses the parts together. The design intent was that the spacer or clock face would touch the edge of the glass crystal, pushing it against the bezel to prevent crystal movement. Do not overtighten the nut to prevent damage.
Mounting Option: The clock in the pictures was printed with a translucent face and was hung in front of a night light up high on a wall. This made it easy to see the clock in the dark, and provided a night light as well. Not every house has a power plug up high, but if so, this could be an option.
