Made these small castle joint blocks to help visualize and design a box with walls.
I want to build a box edges with bars and join them with castle joints, but I want to make the walls out of plywood by cutting grooves into the bars to slide the plywood in. Wanted to test out how this would be possible with castle joints. It's possible to make a box with them where you cannot slide some of the walls in if you don't build it in correct configuration as it would catch on the plywood. With certain configurations you can slide all faces in the grooves except for the last one and that's good for me.
Noticed that the blocks are also fun to play around with.
Printed the “castle” joint with supports, but had to clean it up a bit in post to fit nicely.
Printed with 0.08mm layers in PLA+ with Ender 3 V3
