First off, huge thanks to Eli Fastow for the high quality pumpkin scan. I couldn't find a good tealight jack-o-lantern that wasn't AI generated, so I used this scan as a base to make my own. I've scaled this down to 85% in the vertical axis, chopped a bit of the bottom off to give it a flat surface to sit on, hollowed the pumpkin out, carved a jack-o-lantern face, and cut a 1.5" hole in the bottom for the LED tealight. In my opinion, the visual effect works best with a translucent filament, but I'm not here to make the rules.
My setup:
Printer: MK4S
Printer Profile: MK4S+MMU3, 0.4mm standard nozzle
Filament: Atomic Filament Translucent Orange PETG
Filament Profile: Prusament PETG
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Infill: Gyroid, 15%
Supports: Organic, 30° threshold, on build plate only
I've noticed this particular filament doesn't seem to play super nice with the Nextruder. Tightening the idle screws down didn't help. Slowing the printer down might help, though I have not tried that yet.
