Description:
This is a compact gearbox assembly designed for mechanical demonstration and small-scale projects. The model includes:
gear1.stl: Small gear
gear2.stl: Large gear
shell.stl: Enclosure housing for the gear assembly
The enclosure is designed to hold the gears securely and is fastened using standard M5 screws.
Assembly:
Insert the gears into the shell housing, align the axles, and fasten the assembly with M5 screws. No glue is needed. Tolerances are optimized for FDM printing but may vary slightly based on your printer's calibration.
Print Settings:
Material: PETG recommended for strength and durability
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Infill: 20–40%
Supports: Required for shell.stl (depending on orientation)
