Summary
These two gauges help in cutting breadboard wires to length based on the number of breadboard holes to be bridged.
There are 15 slots in the wire length gauge for breadboard wires to bridge from 1 to 15 holes. There are 'nubs' on the gauge to the right of the 5, 10 and 15 hole slots.
Insert the wire in the gauge slot and cut along bottom edge with small diagonal cutters.
Put the 2nd gauge on your wire strippers. The jaws on my stripper are 3 mm thick and the gauge as designed slips snuggly on the tool. Put the wire in stripper butt up against the gauge. You'll get a perfect 1/4" strip. Repeat on the other end, bend the ends down and place in breadboard.
Use the hole on top right of length gauge to bend 1/4" 90 degree bend on wires.
