I wanted to make a lithophane as a gift for my parents. I took a 5x7 walmart frame and matted it to 4x6. i quickly designed an adapter that i could glue to the back of the frame to offset the frame back/stand piece. I took LED strip lights and stuck around the inside of the printed adapter. i mounted to light controller to the bottom of the frame adapter.

I split the file into the 4 sides and glued together so that i could lay each side flat on the bed and prevent the need for supports. I uploaded the entire frame in case you want to print it in one piece with supports.

Glue the 4 frame pieces together and glue the adapter to the back of your 5x7 picture frame.
