that being said, do you want your qidi q1 pro to be less functional? do you hate all those features they gave you like heated enclosure for stronger materials?

maybe you're mad that it had an mcu or firmware meltdown from naively updating it after fluidd gave you a nice shiny notification button? how were you supposed to know it would bork it? it made you wish you would have bought one that looked more like this perhaps? 

regardless of the reason, here is your chance to strip that ugly, rattly thing apart and give it a more industrial look. 

this moves the screen into its own enclosure.

this takes all the panels off, 

takes the controversial heater out (do this however you see fit, at your own risk)

and takes the aux part cooling fan off (although i will be working on keeping that attached! as well as a piece to mount the filament runout sensor and back piece (both back panel and rear upper panel)

this is all made to screw together with m3 self-threading screws and m3 machine screws (the printer might contain enough to attach the corners and screen mounts, but i'm not sure since i used all matching hardware from an m3 kit)
