These transplant pots are 3D-printable versions of the thin black plastic starter containers you might find at your local nursery. These pots are designed to be semi-flexible to allow for easy removal of a started plant by gently squeezing the sides and releasing the root ball and soil from the pot, then carefully sliding the plant out. Yet, they are strong enough to be able to be reused many times. They have holes in the bottom to allow for drainage.
I have also designed a tray for them to fit in to allow for easy transport of multiple plants at once. The tray also has drainage holes.
As the icing on the cake, I have made it fully parametric. It is modifiable in the top and bottom pot widths, pot height, and drainage hole sizes; the tray is modifiable in the number of pots it can fit in the X and Y dimensions as well as the thickness of the bottom and sides of the tray.
I have pre-configured a small pot with a corresponding 3x3 tray, and a large pot with a 2x2 tray. There are also .gcode files available for a Prusa i3 MK3S/S+.
