Most ball bearing-based spool stands are carrying the filament spool on the outer diameter of the bearings. This spool stand is different and uses the inner diameter. This way the final height is as small as possible.
In addition to this print you need four cheap skateboard bearings and two 12 cm long and 8mm wide tubes. I am using 8mm aluminium tubes for this purpose.
To guide the filament to my printers i am using PTFE tubes in addition to this model. This can be guided across your usual filament holde rusing my Tube Ring.
The distance of the tubes position is optimized to not only hold standard spools without letting them touch the underground, but also to be stable enough to safely support bigger filament spools, like 2 kg ones.
This spool stand also fits perfectly into the enclosure of my Snapmaker A350. Please feel free to check if the outer dimensions also fit into the smaller models.
I am placing mine in the front left corner.
