Assembly and recommendations:

• All boxes are easy to assemble: 
  simply use a piece of filament for hinges and M3 screws or wires for attaching to a solid structure.
   
• Attach the bat-house 3-6m above ground.
   
• Use Southern (SE to SW - northern hemisphere) walls of buildings to keep the bat-houses warm.
   
• Leave empty space under and in front of the booth for maneuverability. 
   
• Place more bat-houses next to each other and let the bats choose the best one.
   
• You can spread bat feces around the entrance to attract them inside.
   
• Do not disturb the bats!

Always read the local bat conservation society instructions before making any bat-house!

Print instructions

• Print with 0.3mm layer height or higher (large nozzles).
  Rough surface is better for bat’s climbing.
   
• Don’t print with bright colors that attract unwanted attention! 
  Orange Prusament might not be the best choice.
   
• Don’t use toxic filaments!
  ASA might be UV resistant but it’s not wise to give animals unsafe filaments that contain styrene. Use PETG instead.
   
• Print with more perimeters
  Make the bat-house as solid as possible to protect bats from unwanted predators and the environment.
