Although there are some great coaster designs out there, I couldn't find anything simple yet practical, so I made one myself. This coaster is almost as simple as it can get, but still serves its purpose efficiently with a lowered brim around the drink holder to catch any condensation coming from your vessel of choice, as well as a raised brim to prevent it from sliding off the coaster.

I have not yet used this coaster design extensively, so I am unsure of the effects of hot beverages being on it for extended periods. This may cause warping to PLA, so ABS and PETG are good options as well.
