Customizable Tea Bag Basket

Beautiful basket for storing your tea bags!

By default, this is designed for 7cm wide tea bags, but you can customize it accordingly to your needs.

How to customize

You can do this through Customizer or OpenSCAD.

• Customizer: Click on Customize below the preview.
• OpenSCAD: download OpenSCAD, open the .scad file in it, open the Customizer panel (window -> customizer). Use F5 to refresh the model, F6 to render and F7 to export the STL

Parameters

• hexagon spacing: spacing between the hexagons. Smaller spacing will make the basket weaker and bigger spacing will make it less beautiful

• hexagon side: length of the of the hexagons. Smaller sides will produce more hexagons, but will take more time to print. Bigger sides will make basket weaker

• bag dimensions: the width and height (respectively) of the tea bags that you intend to use

• thickness: thickness of the basket. Smaller thickness will make the basket weaker. Bigger thickness will take more time to print

• radius: radius of the corner

• $fn: level of detail. more details will take more time to render and the stl and gcode will be bigger. 60 is a good number
