Summary
Replacement tracks for 1980's vintage Radio Shack radio controlled Sherman Tank. As they age, the original tracks will start to break apart.
IMPORTANT: There is a V4 version that allows for a track to be printed in a continuous loop and better supports the use of TPU at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7073846 . I STRONGLY recommend V4 and TPU.
A key factor in this design is that you don't need to print and connect each individual tread. You can print many that are already connected together at one time as a section, and then connect the sections together with a bent paper clip. While the sections are flexible, you can also run wires/cable/line through all of the sections to significantly increase durability.
Sections can be connected together using paper clips and, if desired, reinforced using some thin wire run through two channels in the track sections all the way around each track.
My Sheman tank uses four sections: 20+20+20+14 to get 74 total treads. A variety of STL files are provided, along with the OpenSCAD file.
Using the OpenSCAD file, the track could be readily adapted for a variety of other purposes.
Note: I was able to successfully save my tank from the dumpster.

Depending upon the application, you might want a higher infill percentage.
TPU would be more flexible and likely give better traction. See my V2 which specifically supports TPU {not PLA, PLA+). TPU could be used with the V1 design, but the V2 design would be more durable.
Post-Printing
Run wires through the channels. Connect track sections together with cut and bent paper clips.
