Wanted to try my hand at making a vita dock and this was the result. I made this using the model OxProps made as a reference for dimensions and size.
This model is designed around the 1000 model of PS Vita since that's the only one I have. however, the source files are included, so if you need to make modifications for 2000 it should be really easy to do so. As far as I'm aware the only thing you would need is a slightly different clamping bracket to hold the micro USB cable in place.
There are three different variations I made for this. One with the PS logo and button icons, a plain one with no logos, and a plain one with the Sony logo in front. The first one is the model that's in the zip files. If you want to print the other two just open it in Fusion360 and print the parts from there. If you don't have fusion360 and need the parts lemme know and I'll set up the other versions for printing too. The (.f3d) source files for all three are included.
Tree support is HIGHLY recommended if you want to print this

I have not been able to print this yet as my printer is having some problems atm. When I do eventually get it completely printed I will add the photos here and call it complete instead of a work in progress. I may also make some design changes here and there.
How to Assemble
Assembly steps (images below have the same steps as captions)
First print all the parts, most can be printed fine but the main body is very difficult so I recommend using the model with custom supports. Add a small brim for extra bed adhesion to help the support towers.
When everything is printed, push your data cable into the slot of the front end as shown in the image and use the tighening bracket to hold it firmly in place. (All holes are designed to be used with m3 screws)
Next we need to combine the two main parts. I used a 3D pen to join them together but you can just use hot glue or another adhesive if need be. Just note that it will be difficult to remove screws from the front after this so make sure you tightened it down the way you want. Test fit the vita on it to make sure the plug stays in place.
When the two halves are combined. bring out the Raspberry pi, and test to make sure everything is working. You may want to attach a bluetooth dongle or another adapter at this point too, as connecting things will be more difficult when the pi is screwed in place.
There are 4 m3 screw holes on the bottom that line up with the pi's mounting holes. (These are the universal with the other raspberry pi's I've checked. They all use the same hole placement)
Once that pi is firmly in place you should be all set! Fire it up and enjoy your new Vita dock!
OPTIONAL STEP:
You may want to consider adding a small fan powered by the pi's Gpio pins. I find even with all the airflow holes, the pi can get fairly hot rather quickly. Not sure if that's just the vita dock+ software being demanding or normal operation for the pi 4. Either way, I figured it was worth mentioning.
