Enclosure for the XiROM Programmer. Currently there are two designs, a "standard" version and a "short" version. Print whatever you like more.
The top part of the enclosure has been dimensioned for PAL and Japanese cartridges. I want to make an NTSC cart version later. As it is, you can still insert NTSC carts enough for them to work, but I better recommend you waiting until I can get the time to make a proper NTSC compatible design.
The pipe must be printed in transparent material. The more you are able to make it transparent, the better it will work. You can use for example transparent PETG and configure the slicer to maximize translucency (use the maximum temperature the filament allows, print slow, try printing all layers in the same direction).
For the other parts, use whatever filament you prefer. Once finished, to close the case use 4 x M3 self tapping screws.
FreeCAD design files have been included for easy remixing.
Enjoy!
