Print Settings
The low-poly RC car model uses Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) 3D printing technology for efficient and reliable production. Designed with simplified geometry, the model ensures easy printability and minimal material usage, ideal for educational and prototyping purposes. A standard layer height of 0.2 mm provides a good balance between surface finish and print time. Wall line count is set to two or three to strengthen critical areas such as the wheels and bumpers. Infill density remains at 20%, offering adequate internal support while keeping the print lightweight. Supports apply only to overhangs, including the front bumper and antenna mount, to reduce unnecessary material. PLA filament, known for ease of use and dimensional accuracy, ensures clean results. Brim adhesion enhances plate grip, especially for smaller or narrow parts. For the antenna, a flexible filament or wire serves as an alternative to improve durability. These settings allow the model to print accurately, maintain structural strength, and preserve the clean, low-poly visual style.
Assembly Instructions
After printing all components of the low-poly RC car, assembly proceeds in a straightforward, modular sequence. Begin by attaching the four wheels to the chassis using either glue, snap-fit joints, or small axles if designed with rotating functionality. Ensure the wheels align evenly to maintain balance. Next, position and secure the main body shell onto the chassis, aligning it carefully with any built-in notches or guides. If the antenna is printed separately, insert it into the designated slot on the body and apply a small amount of adhesive to fix it in place. Alternatively, use a thin wire or flexible filament piece as a more durable antenna substitute. If the remote controller model is included, assemble any two-part sections by joining them with glue or fitting pins. For improved strength and a cleaner finish, light sanding of contact surfaces before bonding is recommended. No tools or complex fasteners are required, making the assembly process simple and well-suited for educational or demonstration purposes.
