A housing to fit a cheap USB-C to UART adapter.
This is a remix by modification of the original FreeCAD files of the mini-USB version.
Changes:

redrawn the USB-C connector opening

added recess with generous clearance around connector opening

remaining wall thickness aligns with gap between connector housing and port when fully seated

tested against some fairly bulky USB-C plugs that tend to have issues fitting into other USB-C ports

rounded over edge of the recess using a fillet

mostly for rendering, print with and without is almost indistinguishable at 0.4mm FDM

slightly narrowed the internal blocks next to the connector

there was marginal interference between the USB-C connector opening and the blocks

unfortunately this puts the hole quite close to the wall

directly exported as STEP

the original was first meshed in FreeCAD, potentially because exporting directly as STL or 3MF yields a broken file

Lid:

Made a version without the screw holes

by suppressing Pocket001 and Pocket002

the snap fit is sufficient for me and it makes it much easier to print

Exported the lid as STEP to get better detail

I didn't change the lid geometry, it remains problematic to print

I simply sunk the lid by one layer height, getting rid of the most problematic flat angle overhang

The prints as shown highlight how printing the lid flat side down, admittedly without supports, is problematic due to the fillet chosen for the original. You end up with free floating paths. Also the fillet leads to a very shallow angle directly above the build plate.
I've sidestepped both by sinking in the models by a layer height (0.2mm in my case) and leaving out the holes, as the snap fit is sufficient.
As per original instructions ISO7380 M3x6mm screws can be used, but I found it a very tight snap fit.
