Turn a cheap lamp into a personalised lithophane lamp!
Designed to fit the Verve Design Table Lamp (available from Bunnings Warehouse in Australia).

You'll need to make your own lithophane, but it's pretty easy! I used https://itslitho.com/ to make mine. See print settings for more details on the settings I used.

Base & Lid
For the base you'll need supports. If you print the lid upside down you won't need supports, but I prefer the finish of the top layer on top, so had to print it with supports.
Be sure to print a small sample first to make sure it fits the lamp, as you want it pretty snug and different printers/filaments might cause the size to vary a bit.
Lithophane
You can upload your own image to https://itslitho.com/ and generate the lithophane STL there.
These settings worked well for me, using a 2700 x 1000 res image:
Shape: Cylinder
Diameter: 103.1 mm
Height: 120mm
Angle: 360
Min Think: 0.8mm
Max Thick: 3.2mm
Crop: On
Inside: Off
Frame Thickness: 9mm
Depth: 3mm
Angle: 45 deg
Quality options: mm per pixel: 0.1mm
Export as an STL and chuck into your favourite slicer!
I printed my lithophane with 99% in-fill at 0.12mm layer height. Took my Ender 3 V2 32 hours to print, but the results were fantastic! Again, print a small section of the bottom first to test that it fits into the base and lid properly, and adjust sizing if it doesn't.
