The end of the adapter is 11mm in diameter which should fit most locking nuts on screwdrivers. Simply put in one end of the wire and bend it to lock it in place. Then slowly spin the screwdriver with a firm grip on the wire and let it wind itself. Don't go too fast or else it will be super wonky. You should have gloves on and PPE when using this tool. The longer the spring the more it will want to snap back once you stop winding. The spring WILL be extremely violent as you take it off due to to the tension so be prepared for it. Have pliers handy and have a very strong grip on the wire.
