We got new carpets. My chair mat was too thin for the carpet and my weight on the chair, and would make huge divots that were hard to roll out of. We found heavy duty chair mats online, but they are smooth on both sides. On the new carpet, they creep if you look at them funny, let alone roll around on it. To prevent the mat from moving, I designed these simple stoppers that hold the mat a set distance away from my desk. In early testing, they work great! Print in the provided orientation in whatever material you like with whatever settings you like. It's under low stress so defaults are usually fine.
