Had a lot of fun making this very easy and simple snail tape holder.

I had a load of fishing lure eyes laying around so added some with a blob of super glue. Makes me chuckle. 

I first printed the cutting edge too using PETG for the whole thing at 30% infill. 15% was too brittle. 

The cutting edge did not work as it was not sharp enough. 

So this version has a pilot hole for a threaded insert to be added with a soldering iron or your method of choice. I hold mine over the hob with pliers then press in with a screwdriver. I suggest this is not the safest method! Do not cause a fire or burn yourself. Handling hot items is dangerous. 

The purpose of this is to then cut up a small piece of an instant coffee can to fit between the eyes and cut a zig zag tooth pattern into it. Drill the whole to centre to the thread and secure with a single appropriately sized bolt/screw.

The metal edge needs to be just JUST past the lip of the plastic to work as a cutting edge and not simply bend out of shape immediately.

I do suggest you paint yours and upload snail pattern variations. Best pattern gets bragging rights!
