Summary
I picked up a Key Carabiner from the local Dollarama Store to store my keys on, but needed something to secure the bottom spring loaded latch so it would not accidently open on me and allow me to lose my keys. I made this simple locking mechanism, it's a friction fit so it is removable with a little force. Just make sure you are satisfied with the fit and that it doesn't easily slide on it's own or with little force.

Post-Printing
When assembling the lock onto the carabiner make sure the top side (without the little lip) is towards the top of the hook. If you look closely there is a small lip on one end of this lock that side in the bottom. This lip prevents the lock from moving upwards on the spring loaded latch.
