README: Please print finer than 0.2mm layers. 0.15mm (Prusa) or 0.16mm (Bambu) is tested and works well.

I didn't succeed mounting my PTFE tube in the original design, probably because my tube is slightly out of spec. Because Jack's symmetric coupling is ingenious I “needed” to use exactly that one ;-)

Pros of my remix:

• much easier to assemble

• holds tube even better

• tube can rotate freely

Cons of my remix:

• 2 parts instead of 1

• print most likely needs a brim (super-sticky material like PETG on PEI might work without)

• not all variants of the original available, only w/ locking tabs (too hard for me to work with) and w/ TPU-lock. (You might even get away with the TPU-version w/o the TPU insets, try it)

• as of 2026-04 only tested by myself (and - to some degree - by my 2 cats). Therefore: please report success/failure if you give it a try.

If you would like a texture on the parts, try bumpmesh.com by @CNCKitchen, it works well.

If you want me to make a ready-to-go profile for a Bambu pinter, let me know. I won't post GCODE for Prusas because .... it makes no sense to me.
