Some inexpensive radius gauges I purchased had cheap brass plated rivets instead of proper post screws, so I made these replacements - they look better, and clamp the leaves of the gauges more firmly (see the photos for before and after pictures).
My radius gauge sets came in two different thicknesses, so I made the Post pieces in two different lengths, 8.3mm and 9mm; lengths can also be adjusted by scaling.
Each post screw assembly will require one 4-40 X 1/4" socket head cap screw.
NOTE : One disadvantage of the printed Post is that the narrow diameter does not allow for a strong attachment of the post head. I have not had a failure in the short time I have been using these, but I printed a few replacements while I had the print ready, as cheap insurance.

Assembly and Use
First, I removed the original rivets by "drilling" off one end with a countersink bit.I recommend removing and replacing the rivets one at a time so as not to get the leaves jumbled up.
The ScrewGrip part is assembled by inserting the socket head screw into the narrow side, and then lightly tapping it in fully with a hammer.
The Post part is threaded internally with a 4-40 tap. I sized the post pieces to fit my set of radius gauges as follows :
post diameter = 5mm
post length = 9mm
The post length should be just just shorter than the thickness of the gauge set, so that when the screw is tightened the leaves are clamped together. If necessary, scale the print to adjust for the size you need.
To assemble, insert the Post into the rivet hole and then insert and tighten the screw.
