A scan of the horn of a ram, (Ovis aries). Scanned with a 3DMakerPro Mole scanner, the file was cleaned up in Blender 5. The model is close to life size.

I found this horn in my paddock, probably from either a Merino or a Dorset breed, I've kept both. Its somewhat tatty, as real horns usually are. Rams use their horns for fighting, self-defence, or generally just banging into fence posts or trees. Horns are often broken, cracked and split, even on young rams.

Its a large model, with lots of detail, and was quite troublesome to scan and fix up. It needs support, I used tree support in Orca slicer. Filament use will depend on your chosen strength and infill settings. I had no problem printing it with PLA on a BambuLab A1.

Careful or imaginative painting will bring out its best.
