Overview

The first thing I made after receiving my CC2.

This is a simple side drawer where the “handle” is just a hole. It works both as a grip and as a quick way to see inside without pulling the drawer out. That way you can easily check if it is getting full.

I originally designed it with a normal handle, but realized this solution gives more functionality with less bulk.

Design Details

There are 4 slots for 10x3 mm magnets, but you will probably be fine with just one or even none.

My printer sits on a table that shakes quite a bit when running fast, so I added the magnet option to prevent the drawer from slowly sliding out.

The uploaded version has a few small tweaks. I slightly loosened the tolerances since my original print was a bit snug. It is still designed to fit tightly. And some other light tweaks.

What You Need

2x 12 mm M3 screws for the top
1 to 4 10x3 mm magnets optional
Bottom screws are the original M3 screws

Compatibility

There is a chance you can flip this and use it on the original Centauri Carbon as well, but I have not tested it.

Future Updates

I might rework it, slim it down, and make some improvements later if there is demand for it.
