Summary
My younger boy needed a night light for a field trip. We got him simething by the name of "Dreh dir Licht", but the LED is very bright and would keep the whole room from sleeping.
So I tried two mods: On one of the lights I changed LED and resistor so it is a very dim green. For the second, I made this insert, that projects stars and a moon shape onto the plastic shade. It was just a quick thing - the projected shapes are not very clear, but make for a rather fuzzy impression. Also the geometrical arrangement is a little too regular. But I had it designed and printed in 100 minutes, it worked as intended and he loved it instantly.
Prints without supports. I used black filament to reduce light transmission.

Assembly hints
The two lips on the bottom get fixed beneath the LED-connectors inside the light. For mounting, I have stuck a small wire in them, to bend them down a little until they are caught under the LED-wires - then I pulled out my aid-wire and slid the part in place. Photos may follow...
