This is a rework of the original brackets that come with the CH160 Plus case. The design of the originals is optimized for 25mm fans, and I needed something that would allow 15mm fans to clear the length of my GPU (Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT). The rest of the model is 1:1 with the original hole spacing.

Why are they installed backwards from the original?

While designing the replacements, I had issues with the loose front mesh hitting the fan blades. Flipping the bracket towards the mesh pushes it away from the fan, and as a bonus you can use whatever thickness fan you want now.

I've tested fitment with 120mm and 140mm fans, and 2.5 inch disks, but I don't have a 3.5" HD to test the hole.

I've included the OpenSCAD source file if you want to remix it.

Additional Required Hardware

• 4x M3x6 bolts.
• 4x M3 hex nuts.

Customization

The following variables in the SCAD file can be modified for your needs:

• bktX: Overall size of the bracket. The default value fits my case well.
• thk: Bracket thickness. Values under 2mm can get pretty wobbly.
• offX: this value allows you to move the holes on the bracket's X axis, moving the attached device closer to the front or back of the case.

You can also comment out any hole pair you don't need.

Printing recommendations

Material:
Shouldn't matter, but use something that is heat-resistant enough for the inside of a PC.

Settings:

• Orientatiion: Flat on the plate, side brackets upwards.
• Infill percentage: 100%
• Wall count: 4.
• Solid top/bottom layers: 5.
• Supports: NONE.

Mouse ear brims might be useful.
