I have a NexStar hard drive USB 3.0 dock which takes 2 SATA hard drives. Unfortunately when drives are not inserted dust can end up on the SATA connectors. This cap snap fits to the top of the top of the dock, where the disks can be inserted, to protect the connectors when not in use.
