Description (IMPORTANT - I linked the 3mf file that is set to pause before adding the top layers because it's the only way I know to expose the infill) If you are using a 220mm bed you will have to disable the prime tower for space. If you use the STL you will have to do that yourself.
STL vs 3MF note - the 3MF is setup ready to go but the STL is not, split it to objects and you can assign the infill type and % however you want. These are perfect 1x1 tiles so you could print them in smaller batches also if you split to objects in your slicer.
This Gridfinity-compatible 5x5 reference panel lets you compare 25 different infill patterns in a single print.
Each square uses a different infill type at 15% density, giving you a real-world feel for strength, spacing, and visual style—far beyond what slicer previews show.
Whether you're tuning prints, teaching others, or just want a clean reference in your workspace, this tile makes infill selection fast and obvious.
Why this is useful
See how each infill actually prints—not just slicer previews
Compare rigidity, density feel, and structure side-by-side
Great for dialing in profiles across different printers/materials
Perfect teaching tool for kids, employees, or maker spaces
Looks awesome in your Gridfinity setup
Features
5x5 Gridfinity-compatible footprint
25 unique infill patterns
All set to 15% density for fair comparison
Prints in one shot
Clean labeled layout for quick identification
Drop-in fit for Gridfinity systems
Print Settings (recommended)
Layer height: 0.2mm (or your standard)
Walls: 1-2 I did 1 so I can see through into the sides a bit.
Top/Bottom: standard
Infill: predefined in model (15%) or whatever you want to test, but you have to set it up per object.
No supports needed
PLA recommended (but works with PETG/ASA/etc.)
Pro Tip
Print one in PLA and one in PETG—you’ll immediately see how material changes interact with infill structure.
Designed to integrate perfectly with my Gridfinity-compatible drawer systems and storage solutions—check my other models to build a complete setup.
