This is a holder that lets me put a Facebook Portal FCC ID 2AO9Z-B5736 on a tripod to make it more convenient to use.

When slicing, rotate the object on to the side, so it prints like a C. This will create a stiffer structure.
After printing, get a 1/4-20" nut or a threaded insert, heat it, and melt it into the plastic.
You shouldn't have to do much (any) sanding to get the portal to fit, but it is a pretty snug friction fit.
FreeCAD, digital calipers, and digital protractor.
Basically, measure all the lengths and angles to produce a shape that approximates the dimensions of the device, then use it as a tool to make a cut from a rectangular prism. Finally, use the chamfer tool to remove some of the sharp edges.
