My triple backdrop holder wants to roll down, and I am leery of setting a ton of friction to stop it. Instead, I have a simple part that the chains hook onto to stop the paper dropping on its own.

Simply grab a set of 1/4"-20 hardware (2x screw/bolt >1.5", 4x washer, 2x nut) and slip over your Varipole! I recommend resting the top against something sturdy, like the varipole's handle.

Modifier file is included to make the clamp section solid, if you so wish.

(I would suggest a high number of perimeters / concentric pattern to print this.)

Keep file oriented as is for a left hand chain drive, flip for a right hand chain drive. (Sample image is shown with a right hand/flipped design.) In either orientation, the part is meant to be used "upside down" where the flat portion is on top.
