This print-in-place magnetic mount holds an Insta 360 Go 3/3S camera in almost any position, locked in place with a 4mm machine screw. The camera-holding 20x3mm magnet in its top tray is friction-fit, as is the optional magnet in the base: just tap them into place. Before you place the top magnet check its most effective orientation with your Insta 360 camera. You can add glue if you want permanence.

The slot in the side of the ball head lets you rotate the camera from vertical to horizontal, in addition to its rotational freedom.

The included knob is threaded for a 4mm machine screw, at least 20mm long. I added a drop of super glue beneath the screw head to lock it in place. (The knob included in the first version of the ball head was altogether too small. The current version is easier on the hands.)

In use, do not over-tighten the screw. If you apply too much torque you'll damage the threads and/or the ball. Tighten while testing the ball-head movement. When it sticks, turn the screw just a bot more, then stop. Remember, the camera is a very light load.

You can use it as is on any flat surface. If you add a magnet to the base it's ready to grip anything magnetic. Or you can screw it onto a wood surface using the four feet.

Printed in ASA (for outdoor durability) using supports. I used snug rectilinear supports to keep the underside of the camera tray smooth. Printed with .15mm layer height and 25% infill on a Prusa Core One.

As mentioned, this prints in place. I still can't quite believe that the ball prints successfully even though it's suspended 0.5mm from the enclosing chamber, but it prints quite well. Do not use your slicer's Split to Parts or Split to Objects options: they'll mess up the ball head alignment.
