I got the turntable that goes with my 3DMakerpro Seal list but, as the name implies, it's rather basic.
It will start turning the moment you plug it in and keep turnig until you unplug it, which got on my nerves.
The plate on top, however, is matte and textured, which helps the scanner keep track of what it's looking at.
I also got a fancy turntable from Aliexpress.
It has variable speeds, 360-degree spin cycle and many interestign options.
But the plate on top is highly reflective, which is not good for 3D scans.
The top of the 3DMakerpro turntable is a little too small for the Ali motor, so I made a “hat” that allows the 3DMakerpro table to sit on the Aliexpress motor.
It's a very simple design, but it might just make some people's lie easier, so I'm sharing it here.
I recommend having some sort of support enabled, as the outside hangs a little over the inside.
The model is upsode-down, as that would facilitate printing and gives you the nice texture “on top”.
